Savage Rascal 3D Printed Adult Size Rifle Stock Extension (Butt Plate)

Here is an extended butt plate for your Savage Rascal that makes it usable by adults! The profile is a perfect match for the factory stock (it took me a few tries to get it right).
The stock Rascal has a length of pull (LOP) of 11-3/8". It's excellent for kids but if an adult uses it, your right hand is pretty much touching your nose. It's also a bit too short once your children are much over 10 years old. I know a lot of people who bought a Rascal when the kids were small and then sold it off when they grew bigger. That's a shame because it's a great little, lightweight rifle.
Now you can buy this extension that gives it 12-3/8" LOP (youth version) or 13-3/8" LOP (adult version). It's got nice texturing and a curved shape so it's quite comfortable.
It is 3D printed from PETG filament, which is known for excellent strength, temperature resistance, and UV resistance. It's just as strong as the factory plastic stock - the wall thickness is about 1/8". The screw holes are counterbored, allowing you to use the factory screws (for the wood stock version - kit for plastic stock includes screws). The "All Sizes Kit for Plastic Stock" includes a bonus factory thickness butt plate that allows you to leave the adapter in the stock when returning to a child size LOP.
For the plastic stock version you simply remove the rear sling stud to detach the factory butt plate. The adapter goes inside the stock and attaches through the existing holes - no permanent modifications. Then screw the extension onto the adapter. The adapter sits just a hair below the surface so that the stock extension will squeeze against the stock for excellent rigidity.
Please note that the stock extensions are not compatible between wood and plastic stocks because Savage made the shape slightly different. Plus the screw location had to be different on the plastic stock version to clear the adapter mounting hardware.
