This summer bean is extremely high yielding and drought tolerant. Since it is vulnerable to early grazing pressure, plant in big fields or protect with fencing or repellents. Once established, Lab Lab’s high protein makes it excellent for deer throughout the summer and fall until a killing frost. LabLab should be planted with millet, sorghum or corn to provide a stalk for the vines to climb up. This will help increase its productivity.
